Wood and panels
MDF, plywood and solid wood require effective dust or chip evacuation, stable workholding and geometry suited to the required face quality.
Plastics and acrylic
The main risk is melting caused by rubbing or poor evacuation. A sharp edge, suitable feed and approved air or cooling may be required.
Metals and ACM
Aluminium, steel, stainless steel and aluminium composite require explicitly compatible tools, suitable speed, heat control and sometimes approved lubrication.
Concrete and masonry
Drilling depends on substrate, diameter, hammer mode, SDS or masonry tooling, and possible hidden services or reinforcement.
Limits and precautions
This library describes risks and selection criteria; it does not provide a universal RPM, feed or depth value.
