Bosch “Works With” lists include several 22 and 35 mm hoses. Some use an adapter supplied with the hose, including an anti-static adapter or VX120. Nameinal diameter alone therefore does not prove a bare direct fit.
Bosch ROS20VSC
The ROS20VSC page lists a VAC002 in the package and specifies VAC002 or VAC024 for a 1-1/4 or 1-1/2 in. hose. Before buying another part, check whether the original VAC002 is still present, especially on used or open-box equipment.
Bosch GEX34-6N
For the GEX34-6N, Bosch specifies VAC024 only with 1-1/4 and 1-1/2 in. hoses and states that the GEX34-6 is incompatible with VAC002. This restriction overrides visual similarity or generic recommendations intended for other Bosch sanders.
Do not use VAC002 on the GEX34-6N. Use VAC024 for the two documented imperial hose sizes.
Pre-use Check
Remove the sander canister or filter as directed by the manual, install the adapter without forcing it, and make sure the hose does not pull on the tool. A sealed connection must not restrict free sander movement or create an excessive hose bend.
