How many teeth for a circular saw blade?

Connect tooth count, blade diameter, material and required cut quality.

Fast cutting or finish

A lower tooth count is generally associated with faster cutting and greater chip evacuation. A higher count often targets a finer finish with an appropriate feed rate.

Material matters

Solid wood, panels, melamine and aluminium require different geometries and blades. Tooth count alone does not define compatibility.

Check the machine

Confirm diameter, bore, rotation direction, kerf and maximum speed before installation.

Important

The stated parameters are starting points. Test progressively on scrap and always respect manufacturer limits.
